Preferir al hijo de la esposa no amada

Torah , Deuteronomy , 21: 15-17: If a man has two wives – one loves him and the other hates him – and both gave him children, but the firstborn is the son of the hated one, when he shares the inheritance with his children , can not give the son of the beloved the right of the birthright, to the detriment of the son of the hated, who is the real firstborn.

He must recognize as the firstborn the son of the hated and must give him double part of everything he possesses. He is his firstborn and to him belongs the right to primogeniture.

Everything said in the Torah must be understood in a spiritual sense, not material: it is not that I like one baby more than another or this is the beloved wife and the other is not.

On the spiritual level , everything happens in a totally different way. My favorite desires are selfishly closer to me. Unwanted desires make me work harder and therefore, the firstborn comes from there. It is my strength.

The «firstborn» is greater and stronger than what comes from a weak desire that I love, so contrary to all selfish calculations, I must prefer the desire that originated in the most serious selfish layer.

My «hated wife» is complex, integrated, difficult and has a harsh character. It is my strongest eGoist quality and therefore, with your help, I can reach a higher spiritual height.

However, I need to work on it, overcome myself and therefore, I have to take precisely the unloved desire , rise above my egoistic qualities to get closer to the Creator and push me beyond my selfishness. Naturally, the unloved son gives more promotion, more greatness. For this reason it should be preferred.

Question: Is it the root of which enemies, eventually, become closer to me?

Answer: Of course. And vice versa, it is said that those who live in your house will be your enemies, because with your enemies you have to work harder and consequently, you ascend higher.
